Open the door
Our school has a big front door. Open it slowly — it is heavy. "Don't use the front door today," says the doorman.
"Use the backdoor." In the doorway there is a small doorstop.
"Put it under the door, please." Read the doorplate: it says Room Four.
"Wait," says the doorman. "Look at this." He has an old brown coat. My grandad was here this morning.
"Don't push. Take it," he says. In the coat there is a key. A small brass key!
Outdoor games start at ten, but I don't go. I run home with the key. Don't wait for me!
