Whose Schoolbag?
Our school is small and yellow. Behind the schoolhouse there is a schoolyard with two old trees.
This morning there is a green schoolbag under the tree. It isn't my schoolbag.
"Whose schoolbag is this?" asks Mr Owen. Inside there are three schoolbooks and a broken pencil.
"My schoolbag is red," I say. "This one is green." No schoolgirl and no schoolboy answers. Ben says nothing.
Then Ben sees his name on the first schoolbook. It is his old bag from last year. He didn't know it was here!
Now Ben's schoolwork is safe, and my schoolmate has two bags. Our schoolteacher is laughing too.
