The one who is missing
A row of photographs hangs along the hall wall. In every photo there is a father who is laughing and two children.
Sara counts them: fourteen. The photographer who took them is in none of them.
In the cupboard there is an old camera that nobody uses. On the back she finds a fingerprint which is not hers.
Sara and her little brother whisper behind the photobook. Their mother, who never stops moving, is in the kitchen.
Sara puts the camera on a shelf and turns the timer on. A small red light counts down.
On the wall there is one frame that is still empty. The new snapshot is a photograph which has everyone in it. Who is in the middle?
