One day of your work
At half past seven Mr Blake is already looking for his keys. Sara said that his work was easy.
He puts the keys in her hand and says nothing. The classroom is empty. The blackboard is clean.
Sara sits down at the front desk with a workbook in front of her. The bell rings and twenty children come in at once.
Twenty hands go up at the same second. Sara did not say anything for a long time.
The clock says twenty past nine. Only twenty minutes of the workday have gone. Mr Blake watches through the crack in the door. He asked if she needed help.
The empty classroom again: a small drawing of a workshop is left on the board. In the evening Sara told her father that the hard part was patience, not homework.
